Welk Resort Activities

When you visit Welk Resort in San Diego, California, activities abound. The Welk Vacation Experience has a San Diego, California Vacation Package for everyone... As you soak in the surrounding sunshine, fresh air and panoramic views, it's easy to forget that you are only a short drive from downtown San Diego, Los Angeles and Baja Mexico. Before you head out to explore the sites, be sure to enjoy a host of on-site resort activities including Golf, Live Theatre, and Dining.

In addition to golf, theatre and dining, you'll also enjoy other San Diego activities offered at our five recreation facilities available to all our owners and guests: Boulder Springs, Mountain Springs, Harmony Hill, Melody Hill, and Broadway Hill.

Boulder Springs Club House and Waterslide present vacationers with a unique opportunity. Owners and Villa Guests can enjoy an interactive water playground for children, 140 ft. waterslide* encased in rock, an outdoor living room fire pit area, 2 swimming pools, as well as a 5300 sq. ft. clubhouse complete with a 50" Plasma screen TV, Internet access, a library, Foosball, Air Hockey and Kid's Game Room. *There is a minimum height requirement of 42 inches to be able to use the waterslide.

Mountain Springs Club House and Waterslide opened in 2009. Owners and Villa Guests can enjoy a colossal new lagoon-style swimming pool, 7,000 sq. ft. of water surface area and "Zero Entry" approach. The pool area features a 120 foot waterslide, a grotto spa, deck spa, kids' interactive splash zone, an inviting fire pit and a quintet of private cabanas offering flat screen LCD TV, HSIA, telephone, and ceiling fan. The clubhouse features a lounge and game room with a large LCD TV, computers, game tables, pool tables, and foosball. *Same minimum height to use the waterslide.

Melody Hill Recreation Center offers adult only serenity pool and spa, fitness cardio room, fitness work out equipment room, large sauna, and two lighted tennis courts.

Broadway Hill Recreation Center offers 2 spas, a swimming pool, a lap pool as well as a variety of games and activities including ping pong, foosball, pool, arcade games, Playstation and more.

Activities and fun are also abound at the Harmony Hill Recreation Facility with amenities including a swimming pool, spa, children's pool, pool tables, big screen TV and ping pong.

Please be advised that according to the resorts Rules and Regulations skateboarding, roller blading, roller skating and riding of scooters are not permitted on the resort grounds at any time.

Our recreation centers are occasionally closed for maintenance.
