Welk Resort Human Resources Department Receives Prestigious SDSHRM Workplace Excellence Award

Escondido, CA (Welk Resort San Diego) November 11, 2009 -- The Welk Resort Human Resources team has had the honor of winning the prestigious Workplace Excellence Award in the Large Company Category, presented by the San Diego Society for Human Resource Management. Chosen out of a field of over 120 other nominated companies, Welk Resorts has earned the distinction of being one of San Diego's "best places to work". This is a very high honor.

This award was created 10 years ago to illustrate how exceptional human resource practices translate into employee satisfaction and successful company performance and profitability. The Workplace Excellence Awards competition is unique in that only employees are eligible to nominate their company as a "great place to work".
